Case Study

Lift Company – Liftservice 24

Liftservice24 was the first lift company in the Netherlands to implement SafeLine Nova — a strategic decision driven by a clear ambition to lead with technology and deliver a higher standard of service. By combining Nova with SafeLine Orion, the team transitioned from reactive fault management to proactive, data-driven operations. With real-time visibility across their portfolio, the team now identifies issues before customers report them and resolves the majority of faults remotely — without a site visit.

Since the initial rollout, 70 lifts are now connected to SafeLine Orion, with 15 or more new installations currently in progress.

The Result: fewer unplanned call-outs, more efficient service scheduling, stronger customer relationships — and a scalable platform built for continued growth.

The Challenge

In an industry where reliability and rapid response are essential, Liftservice24 recognised a fundamental limitation in the traditional service model: faults were discovered after they occurred, maintenance was scheduled on fixed cycles rather than actual need, and communicating performance to customers meant relying on manual records.

To modernise their operation, Liftservice24 needed a solution that could modernise existing lift installations without disrupting service continuity, provide real-time visibility into what was happening across their portfolio, enable the team to act on data rather than just respond to reported faults, and scale as their customer base grew.

“Before Orion, we only knew something was wrong when someone called us. Now we often know before they do. That changes everything about how we work.”

— Jaap Hollestelle, CEO, Liftservice24

Solution

Liftservice24 became the first lift company in the Netherlands to implement SafeLine Nova. The controller’s native Orion connectivity meant there were no add-ons or workarounds — the moment Nova was installed, the lift was visible in Orion.

Nova’s guided setup workflows and 5.5″ TFT touch display reduced commissioning time from the outset. Remote diagnostics via Orion meant the team could identify and resolve the majority of common faults without travelling to site.

Alongside Nova, the team connected their growing portfolio to SafeLine Orion — a live view of every lift, with fault alerts, operational data, and a full maintenance log in one dashboard.

Business Impact and Value

With 70 lifts connected to SafeLine Orion and 15 or more new installations in progress, Liftservice24 has built an operational platform that delivers tangible value at every stage of growth. The team now responds to fewer unplanned call-outs, detects faults before customers report them, and has a scalable foundation that connects every new installation automatically.

For Liftservice24, this is more than a technical upgrade. Combined with Orion, SafeLine Nova is the operational backbone of a service business built to grow — and to demonstrate its value clearly to every customer.
